Ninety-five percent of our sessions focus on manual diagnostics and treatment, a gentle, non-painful approach that reduces the body’s reactivity and anxiety. Research indicates that calming the nervous system improves cognitive function, reduces stress, and enhances ease of movement. Based on Dr. Candace Pert's research at the U.S. National Institutes of Health, emotions can influence all body tissues. In collaboration with your physician, we incorporate mind-body strategies to reduce stress and promote relaxation and overall well-being. While traditional physical therapy often relies on an exercise-only approach, studies show that manual techniques targeting the circulatory, nervous, and fascial systems before exercise can significantly benefit flexibility, pain relief, muscle function, neuro-sensory integration, and cognitive and motor development.

We prioritize open communication with your healthcare team. As part of developing your activity program, we will collaborate with your medical team to address hydration and nutrition. In cases where patients work with multiple doctors, therapists, or receive school-based services, we are dedicated to coordinating with these providers as necessary to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
